Required For Burdens Specialist Vegetable Machinery Division

Burdens Specialist Vegetable Machinery department specialise in selling and supporting specialist machinery for vegetable, salad and root crop growers.

Some of these products are brussel sprout harvesters, leek harvesters, cabbage harvesters, onion toppers, windrowers & harvesters, plus other specialist equipment.

Our latest sales franchise focuses on high-precision and ultra-targeted spraying of herbicides, fungicides, insecticides and fertilisers to help improve profitability, yet adhere to environmental regulations.

Location

The business is based in Sutterton, near Boston in Lincolnshire.

Job Role

We are looking for an individual who is willing to learn the future of modern farming and who is enthusiastic about modern technology with a forward-thinking positive attitude. 

Understanding farming practices and seasonal activities is more important than any sales experience as we can train the right applicant.

Someone who is driven to solve problems with the help of a fantastic team around them. With good communication skills and is willing to engage with customers; thinking outside the box with ambition.

It is a new position within the sales department. Normal working hours apply plus additional seasonal hours, while attending and exhibiting at shows across the country.

The customers are UK wide and therefore some occasional nights outs will be required.
