Naio Robotic Equipment

Naio Technologies is a French company that was founded in 2011 that develops and produces autonomous robots for agricultural and horticultural purposes. We will work in close collaboration with customers to get the correct machine for your requirements.

The Burdens Group Specialist Vegetable Machinery Division are the sole importers for Naio covering the UK and Ireland and are experts on the full range of Naio robotic machinery offering the best advice on the most suitable machine for your needs.

Four of the models to choose from in the range are:

Naio Oz

The Naio Oz is the smallest robot of the Naio range. It is used for various tasks which include cultivation, weeding, sowing, transporting, spraying, etc. has a maximum speed is 2 km/h and weighs approximately 200kg.

Towing capacity of the robot is approximately 300kg and safety precautions include bumpers, and an e-stop.

The robot is controlled wirelessly using a hand-held remote-control unit and is guided using RTK GPS.

It can work autonomously for approximately 8 hours with lithium batteries which provide power for the robot.

It has a fully customisable toolbar for whatever task that is required and has 4-wheel drive and cleated tires for traction.

The average work rate is approximately 1,000m2 per hour.

Naio Jo

The Naio Jo robot is used for cultivation, weeding, spraying and other tasks and has a maximum speed of 2.2 km/h and weighs approximately 800kg.

The tool holder capacity of the robot is approximately 250kg.

The working width of the robot is up to 125cm depending on the task and safety precautions include a bumper and e-stops.

The robot is controlled wirelessly by use of a smartphone and is guided using RTK GPS.

It is propelled by two rubber tracks and for power it has 3x 48V batteries which total 16,1kWh.

It can work autonomously for approximately 8-10 hours and comes with a tool holder as standard. One additional battery is an option to go up to 21,5 kWh.

Naio Orio

Th Naio Orio robot is used for cultivation, weeding, spraying and other tasks.

The robots maximum speed is 5.5 km/h and weighs approximately 1,200kg.

The tool holder capacity is approximately 700kg without sideshift and 500kg with sideshift.

Working width is up to approximately 200 – 220cm and safety precautions include bumpers, front lidars, and e-stops.

The robot is controlled wirelessly using a hand-held remote-control unit and is guided using RTK GPS.

For power it has 4 x 48V batteries which total 21,5kWh but as an option it can have 6 x batteries making the total 32.3kWh.

It can work autonomously for approximately 6-8 hours with 4 x batteries and 8-10 hours with 6 x batteries.

It has a central 3-point hitch for easy transportation and the robot’s toolbar is 3 metres long

It can have a Tillett & Hague camera guided side shifting system as an option. A rear tool holder is also an option.

Naio Ted

The Naio Ted robot is used for cultivation and weeding in vineyards and tree nurseries.

The maximum speed of the robot is 4.5 km/h and it weighs approximately 1,800kg.

Safety precautions include bumpers, and e-stops and the robot is controlled wirelessly using a hand-held remote-control unit and it is guided using RTK GPS.

It can work autonomously for approximately 8-10 hours with lithium batteries which provide power and the average area worked per day by the robot is approximately 5 hectares/day.

The robot’s toolbar is customisable for whatever task that is required and camera guidance is used for < 5cm precision.

For movement four drive wheels are used each with individual motors.
