The Imants Sandcat for Hire UK is a lightweight turf slitter that moves lightly over the turf, slitting the surface and introducing sand to improve drainage and enhance the properties of the root zone. This improves water infiltration to help keep the surface dry and playable.

Features of this Imants Sandcat for Hire include:

  • Heavy roller allows immediate use of turf
  • Working width of 1.2 metre
  • Cutting blade working depth of 150mm
  • Sand injection working depth of 120mm
  • 21 blades that are 8mm thick and spaced at 150mm causing little disturbance and having minimal recovery time
  • Offers sand injection to 10-15mm
  • Compact size so it is ideal for greens and tees and other sports surfaces
  • When empty can be used to aerate hard, compacted areas of fine turf
  • Overload protection by a torque limiter PTO shaft

This machine is supplied with a tractor.

All prices quoted are subject to VAT and delivery may be charged extra. The Hirer is responsible for all loss, breakages and damage to the equipment whilst in the Hirers care whether caused by theft, vandalism, misuse or accident. It is advised that the Hirer takes out their own insurance to cover machinery whilst on hire and that all machinery is operated by a competent operator.

The Burdens Group Ltd can provide delivery of your machine, which will be agreed during the sales or hire process if required. Delivery is charged extra, unless agreed otherwise in writing, and a date and expected time of delivery will be arranged with you.

If choosing to collect your machine, please ensure we have agreed on the date that it is being collected so everything can be ready for you.
